2004 -
In March of 2004, Brian Anthony stepped into a ring for the first time.  After searching interminably
for a place to begin training to fulfill his dream, Brian found Jason Knight's Powerstation Pro-Wrestling
Dojo, located in Waterbury Connecticut.  After meeting with Jason, Anthony began training the very
next day.  Brian trained 3 to 4 days a week from March through August when Jason Knight put him
into the ring for the first time in front of a live crowd at the Assault Championship Wrestling 106.9
Rock Expo. pitted against "The Brazillian Shooter" Del Tsunami.  (Tsunami victorious via submission).
After his first taste of competition Brian went back to the powerstation Dojo, and trained harder than ever,
leading into his second pro-show which was Assault Championship Wrestling's "The Awakening" at
Riders Cafe in Waterbury, CT on October 10, 2004.  This day was set to be a rematch between Brian
Anthony and Del Tsunami.  About 8 minutes into the match Anthony was hit with a hard clothesline
from Tsunami which in turn, broke his jaw in 3 places. Brian got up, finished the match and lost after
a burning hammer from Del. Immediately following the match, Anthony was sent to St. Mary's hospital
in Waterbury, CT where they determined the extent of the breakage and how much surgery would be
required to fix it. On October 11th Brian's jaw was wired shut, and it would be almost 6 months until
he stepped into the ring again.

2005 -
In March of 2005, Brian Anthony returned to the ring after extensive surgery to repair his jaw.  Upon
his return he found himself wrestling in Brooklyn, NY as part of a 3 way dance tag team match, just
one year after beginning his training. By This point Jason Knight's powerstation Dojo had shut its doors
and Anthony's connection to the wrestling world was diminishing.
Towards the end of 2005, during intermission at a local Independent show, fate came to the rescue.
Brian was approached by two students of the Paul Roma wrestling Academy (Chris and Anthony Battle).
After speaking with Paul, Brian began training again that same week.  After about two months of training
at Paul's wrestling school Anthony stepped back into the competitive light and began working for Defiant
Pro Wrestling for the remainder of the year.

2006 -
Brian Anthony continues to train at Paul Roma's wrestling school, and considers finding Paul a gift.
He has given Brian not only the skills needed to stay safe in wrestling and keep others safe, but he has also
taught respect both in and out of the locker room.  Brian debuted for Connecticut Championship Wrestling
(CCW) On February 25th, 2006. Brian went on to open the show with a win over Frankie Arion.
Throughout the remainder of 2006, Brian continued on a path of winning ways in CCW, even capturing the
"Northeast Championship" in a triple threat ladder match in June.  Concreting a spot in CCW led Brian to
obtain more notoriety, and open eyes of other promoters.  One of the most memorable moments for Anthony
in 2006 would be a road trip he took with Paul Roma to South Bend, Indiana, where he wrestled, and
obtained a victory over Christopher Battle of the Arc-Angles.  Having Paul go out of his way to set up the trip, and
get back in the ring just so that his students could be showcased on the show showed the kind of guy Paul really is.

2007 -
2007 started off better than Brian could have possibly ever imagined.  In February, he was booked for his
first Northeast Wrestling (NEW) show.  The show was scheduled for March 16th, in  Danbury CT, just one
town over from Brian's home in Bethel.  Unfortunately, the largest snow storm of the season hit, causing the
show to be delayed until April 27th.  Because of the delay, Anthony made his NEW debut in Bristol, CT on
April 22nd, wrestling Jason Blade, and sharing a locker room that evening with stars such as: Kurt Angle,
Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, Joey Mercury,  and Jay Lethal among others!  Later on that week, Brian wrestled
for Northeast Wrestling in Danbury Connecticut in front of a hometown crowd, which was easily the greatest
night of his career up to that point. Brian was lucky enough to compete on every NEW show for the
remainder of the year, which was a career achievement..  2007 has been a year of incredible ups and downs.
The biggest downfall of the year came with the passing of his father on May 8th.  Despite the loss, Brian's
career has continued on the up swing.  Aside from beginning a career in Northeast Wrestling, which has
clearly been the highest point of the year, Brian has also enjoyed success in the upstart "Power and Glory"
promotion run out of CT. While working for PGW Brian once again began carrying the CCW Northeast Title
which was re-instated to be defended at PGW shows due to the closing of Connecticut Championship
Wrestling.  In November, in front of nearly 3,000 fans in Scranton, PA Brian teamed up with Romeo Roselli
and Ricky Landell in a triple threat match against WWE Legend Sgt. Slaughter and 2 partners.  At the end
of the night, Anthony fell victim to the "slaughter cannon" and the "Cobra Clutch!"

2008 -
Brian started 2008 by winning his second piece of gold.  On Jan. 12, Brian became the New England Pro
Wrestling "New England Champion."  Brian has continued on with a career goal of being a part of Northeast
Wrestling in 2008, competing on numerous shows.  Working in NEW throughout 2008 has allowed Brian to
compete with the likes of former ECW superstar Julio Dinero,  "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal and WWE
Legend "Rowdy" Roddy Piper!  April proved to be a memorable month for Brian, as he made his first appearance
with the WWE!  For 2 days Brian was brought in as "Extra talent" and was featured on a WWE.com episode of
"The Dirt Sheet" starring John Morrison and The Miz!  April also saw the CCW Northeast Title become unified
with the new PGW "North American Title" when Brian defeated Kid Mikaze.  In June, Brian would go on to
retain the "North American Title" after dropping an elbow off the top of a steel cage while competing in his first
ever steel cage match!  In July, Brian was once again brought to WWE as "Extra Talent", this time being used
in a photo shoot for a WWE magazine article featuring Shelton Benjamin.  Brian would wind up appearing in
the WWE "best of 2008" Magazine issue. August of 2008 would also prove to be a successful month, as Brian
would win his first 2 "company" titles.  On 8-8-08 Brian would become the first ever Wild World of
Wrestling heavyweight Champion, and on 8-23-08 Brian would capture the UFO Wrestling heavyweight
Championship.  Brian closed out the year in tremendous fashion.  First competing at Power and Glory
Wrestling "Fight Before Christmas."  Brian Anthony faced off against CT veteran Kurt Adonis in a match that
would have both the PGW Championship, and the PGW North American titles on the line.  At the end of the
night,  Brian walked away from East Haven, CT holding both titles.  To finish off the year, Brian competed in
Waterbury CT,  for Northeast Wrestling, against former NEW Champion Ron Zombie.  Ron, being a Waterbury native had
the home
advantage, but in the end, it was Brian who walked out of Waterbury victorious.

2009 -
Brian's career really started to heat up in 2009, after he began devoting his career almost entirely on succeeding within
Northeast Wrestling.  He started the year off with a bang by going after one of wrestling's most loved legends: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.
Brian lost to "Hacksaw" in Suffern, NY but wouldn't let that stop him.  Just a week later, Brian would recruit a tag team partner in
CT veteran Kurt Adonis.  Brian and Kurt would team up to face another CT main stay Bull Dredd, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.
The outcome of the match did not go in the favor of Brian and Kurt, which led to the demise of the VERY short lived duo.  After the
match, Brian was shown on the video screen at the event, and berated Kurt for their loss.  Brian stated that he was tired of being
overlooked in NEW and that he was about to change his career.  He announced to the live crowd in Torrington, CT that in one weeks time
he would face Kurt Adonis one on one in Kurts retirement match in Bristol, CT (Kurts home town) at NEW's biggest event of the year:
Wrestlefest XIII!  Not only would he be facing Kurt, but he would have in his corner none other then "The Mouth of the South"
Jimmy Hart!  On March 27th, a retirement ceremony was held in Kurts honor, and on that night, the battle lines were drawn
as Brian and Jimmy Hart stormed the event and spat off some choice words about the career of Kurt Adonis, and his friends in attendance.
The next night proved to be a turning point in Brian's career.  In front of 2,000 of Kurt Adonis's hometown fans, Brian
defeated Kurt, fair and squre in the middle of the ring to send him into retirement.  After the match, the two shared an emotional
hug and hand shake.... but it didn't last, as Jimmy Hart threw his megaphone in to Brian, who used it to knock Kurt Adonis out.
As if ending Kurt's career wasn't enough, Brian and Jimmy Hart had to audacity to interupt the 16 time world champion, and WWE
Hall of Famer "Nature Boy" Ric Flair later on in the night, as he gave an in-ring address to the live crowd.  In one of the biggest
moments in Northeast Wrestling's history, Brian Anthony assaulted "The Nature Boy" and knocked him to the mat.  Jimmy Hart
proclaimed Brian to be "The Next Big Thing in Wrestling."  The celebration of their attack was short lived however, as moments later
Brian found himself on the receiving end of the world famous Ric Flair knife edge chops, and Jimmy Hart found himself on the receiving
end of a Figure Four Leg Lock after Ric's son Reid came to the rescue and fed Jimmy Hart to his father!
After leaving his mark at Wrestlefest, Brian went on to compete in a battle royal at NEW "Honesdale Havoc" in April.  Brian won
the battle royal, which earned him a shot at Jason Blades NEW Championship later that night (Brians first attempt at the championship).
Brian came up on the losing end but that did not detour him on his way to big things in NEW.  A week after missing out
on capturing the NEW title, Brian once again found himself being mentored by Jimmy Hart.  This time, Jimmy would
lead Brian into battle in Newburgh NY at "Spring Slam IV" against former ECW superstar Tony Devito.  Brian would go on to
defeat Devito, but wasn't done yet.  In typical Brian Anthony fashion, he once again heinously attacked Ric Flair.
Flair had had enough, which lead to an event of epic proportions the following evening.  Ric Flair had recruited
a long time friend: Jerry "The King" Lawler to team up with his son Reid to face Brian and a partner of his choosing.
"The King" and Reid had "The Nature Boy" in their corner, and Brian had Jimmy Hart in his, when they announced Brian's
partner for the evening would be none other then multiple time WWE tag team champion: Trevor Murdoch!  In the end
The Flair's and "The King" stood tall in Rockland, NY!   A month later, Brian would try his luck again against WWE Hall
of Famer Jerry Lawler, and again he would fall victim to the famous piledriver in Waterbury CT at NEW "Rage in the Cage."
This wouldn't stop Brian from making an impact that night, as he managed to weasel his way into the main event steel cage match
later that night and help Jalil Salaam in assaulting home town favorite Ron Zombie.  Jalil set Ron up on a table in the
center of the ring, while Brian dropped an elbow that lead Zombie crashing through the wood.  Several NEW fan favorites cleared
the ring of Brian and Jalil, which would lead the tandem into a tag team street fight encounter several months later, back in
Waterbury, CT.  In November at NEW "Hart Attack" Brian and Jalil would face the hometown duo of Ron Zombie and
Bull Dredd.  By this point, Brian and Ron's rivalry was as hot as ever, and ready to come to a close in this street fight.
At the end of the match, the referee was knocked down, which led to ringside enforcer Mike Tripp (Waterbury, CT Police
Officer) to slide in the ring and count Brian's shoulders down for the 3 count.  Brian took exeption to Officer Tripps involvement
and proceeded to slap the officer in the face.  Brian made the mistake of turning his back to gloat, and when he
turned back around he was met with a tackle from the officer, and was handcuffed and led straight out of the building!
The next day, the local newspaper featured a full color shot of Brian handcuffed on the front page.  This would not
be the last time the two would meet!  To end the year, Brian Anthony would face off against an up and comer in
Northeast Wrestling named Matt Taven.  Little did anyone know, that this match would only be the beginning of what would
soon become a very heated rivalry.  A rivalry that would last for years, see injuries, heart break and unforgettable moments!

2010 -
In March of 2010 Brian would start the year off by setting his sights on another former WWE/ECW superstar: Tommy Dreamer.
NEW came to Derby, CT for March Mayhem, which featured a main event street fight where Tommy Dreamer teamed with Ron Zombie
to face Brian Anthony and the man who turned on Ron several months earlier: Bull Dredd. Mick Foley was also enlisted
as a special referee. The match was full of back and forth hardcore  action.  At one point Brian elbow dropped Tommy Dreamer through a
table, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory.  Brian would later suffer a death valley driver through a table and taste defeat.
Shortly after this, Brian found himself in a 5 way elimination match for the NEW title (Held at the time by former WWE Tag Champion
Paul London.)  Brian fared well in the match, even eliminating former NEW Champion Jason Blade.  The next night would be the biggest
event in NEW history up until this point.  Wrestlefest XIV was being held in the world famous Mid-Hudson Civic Center in
Poughkeepsie, NY.  The show featured such stars as Roddy Piper, Jerry Lawler, Tommy Dreamer and Booker T!  The show also
featured a rematch from the previous night, for the NEW championship.  Brian Anthony, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and Jason Blade
would all once again chase Paul London's championship.  Brian was eliminated at the hands of London's shooting star press.
Matt Taven would go on to win and become NEW Champion.  A little over a month later, Brian's career would get a shot in the arm.
Brian would team with Rob Eckos (who would later become Robbie E. in TNA) to face off against former WWE Champion,
Jeff Hardy, and his partner Shannon Moore in front of a sold out crowd at "Spring Slam" in Newburgh, NY.  Brian would
fall victim to the Swanton Bomb, but not before inflicting some punishment to both Jeff Hardy and Shannon Moore.
In October at "Brass City Brawl II" in Waterbury, CT Brian would once again come face to face with Waterbury, CT Police
Officer, MIke Tripp.  Brian would team with Bull Dredd to face off against Tripp, and his partner: NEW Champion
Matt Taven.  The hatred between Matt and Brian would further escalate during this match.  After a back and forth
encounter, Taven and officer Tripp would record the victory after Mike Tripp speared Brian Anthony.  Brian would lay
down a challenge to Matt taven for his NEW championship the very next night in Liberty, NY at "Thunderslam."
Brian Anthony and Matt Taven would face off one on one for the first time in almost a year, and this time it would be for
the Northeast Wrestling championship.  The match started off hard hitting as almost everyone anticipated, giving the
known hatred both men had for each other.  The match however was quickly and abruptly ended when Anthony suffered a
serious injury.  Matt Taven hit a springboard plancha onto Anthony on the outside of the ring.  When Matts force
connected with Anthony, it sent Brian's facing hurling into the guardrail at ringside.  Brian was severely busted open,
half conscious, and pouring blood.  Matt rolled Brian into the ring, and quickly defeated him after a frog splash from the
top rope.  Brian would be rushed to the hospital, receiving 8 stitches to close the gaping wound on his face, and underwent
tests to determine that he was badly concussed.  Brian would be out of wrestling action for a month,  and
unable to resume normal activity for 2 weeks, causing him to miss a championship match at CT promotion CTWE.  The hatred
Brian had towards Matt Taven was at an all time high, prompting him to berate Matt Taven right from his
hospital bed.  Brian returned to action at the end of the year to face former WWE/WCW star Hurricane Helms
in Port Jervis NY before the year wrapped up.

2011-
On January 15th, Northeast Wrestling opened the year in front of a sold out crowd at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center
once again in Poughkeepsie, NY for Wrestlefest XV.  On this night, Brian took "Hurricane" Helms to his limits, but could not come out
victorious.  After suffering the defeat in front of the large crowd, Anthony vowed to turn his career back around.  While competing
primarily for NEW, he had begun a short stint in CT's CTWE promotion where he had been picking up victories.  Brian wanted to bring
those winning ways back to his NEW career, and he did that on March 26th in Torrington, CT when he defeated ROH star and Super 8
tournament winner Tomasso Ciampa with a top rope powerslam.  Brian carried his momentum over and began making his intentions of
making a run at Matt Taven's NEW championship very vocal.  In September of 2011, the vibe surrounding Brian Anthony began to change.
NEW was returning to waterbury, CT, amd Brian Anthony was scheduled to be part of "Brass City Brawl II" but was not advertised for a
match.  Brian is notable for being hated in Connecticut by wrestling crowds everywhere, which is why it was shocking when reqeusts for
Brian started to come up on the NEW website and facebook pages.   Less then a week before the show, the whole lineup was changed and
the poster for the event now featured Brian Anthony vs Matt Taven scheduled in a steel cage match for the NEW Championship.  Brian's
small cult like following he labeled "The Anthony Army" started to mount themselves behind Anthony in his quest for the title.  To the shock of
just about everyone (including Brian) Waterbury CT was a sea of Lime Green on September 30th!  "The Anthony Army" rallied behind
Brian with Lime green apparel, and signs featuring everything from "Brian Anthony for president", to "If Brian Loses we Riot."  A man
that has NEVER been received by the fans of CT, even in his home town outings began to get behind him.  As Brian walked to the ring
for his grudge match, he was met by a surprising amount of cheers, with the still typical boos.  A mixed reaction met the championship
challenger.  When Matt Taven entered the ring, he was also met with a mixed reaction, as opposed to the typical shrills from the girls, and
cheers from the guys.  A divided crowd soon turned to a pro-Brian Anthony crowd.  With each near fall, the crowd came more alive!
Fianlly, after a long fought battle, Matt Taven missed a frog splash from atop the cage, allowing Brian to score a pinfall victory
and become Northeast Wrestling Champion!  All 1,600+ in attendance in Waterbury, CT came alive as the announcer
proclaimed NEW NORTHEAST WRESTLING CHAMPION BRIAN ANTHONY!   The next night, the undying rivalry
continued as Brian defended his newly won championship against Matt Taven in a rematch.  Again, the Mid Hudson Civic
Center was sold out and this time Brian Anthony would be walking in with the gold!  For the first time ever, the crowd
erupted for Brian Anthony as he defended his title succesfully against Matt Taven!
